Problems Getting Pregnant
Are you and your spouse having problems getting pregnant? If so you are not alone. More than 15% of couples in the U.S. undergo some form of fertility treatment. Having problems conceiving may leave you feeling totally frustrated. If you both have been checked out and have a clean bill of health (i.e. no blocked fallopian tubes, no problems ovulating, both sex hormones are at good levels, and sperm are both good in quality and quantity), and no medical reason why you shouldn’t be conceiving, there may be a few things you can do and one big one you can stop doing, to cure your
problems getting pregnant.

Although you may be unaware, there is something that if couples use while trying to conceive can actually lessen their chances. The biggest mistake most couples make is using lubricants while trying to conceive. Most lubricants are not designed to increase fertility. In fact they are hostile to sperm making it nearly impossible to get pregnant. Some even go as far as to compare them to spermicide, and could be the reason you are having problems getting pregnant. The reason is this; sperm are fragile and require the appropriate pH, temperature and moisture in order to survive. Introducing something like a regular lubricant to the mix only kills the sperm instead of aiding them and nourishing them.

Several things to do or use while trying to get pregnant: 1.) Take folic acid2.) The man should avoid overheating (i.e. hot tubs, hot showers) 3.) Use
Pre-seed
a sperm friendly lubricant 4.) Track your ovulation using ovulation tests and keeping track of your temperature and cervical mucous 5.) Avoid caffeine and other drugs (act as if you are already pregnant) 6.) Stop stressing. Having a stress free life is impossible, but limiting your stress will help.
