Announcing Pregnancy:
#1 Wrap positive
pregnancy test
up and give it to spouse or family member!
#2 If you are at your parents or in-laws, and your sister or sister-in-law is there, leave test in bathroom and see who finds it. When someone asks who's it is, deny it and blame your sister, or sister-in-law. Let this go on for a while and then say SURPRISE, it's mine!
#3 If it is a holiday or someones birthday, simply sign the card "Love, your name, your husbands name and baby". This is sure to get a reaction!
#4 Wait until you have your first ultrasound and then place it in a box and give it to your family.
#5 Get your husband a book on fatherhood, and place it on the kitchen table where he is sure to find it!
#6 Get paint samples, and ask your husband or your parents, which they like better for the nursery!
#7 Buy and wrap 2 pair of little newborn booties, and give them to each set of parents!
#8 If you are over for dinner at your parents or your in-laws, and you are getting hungry, simply say, "when is dinner, the baby is getting hungry!"
#9 Have your husband and you pick out names that you like, and ask your parents which names they like better for a girl and which for a boy.
#10 Call your mom or mother-in-law, and ask her if she wants to be in the delivery room with you? She will be totally confused, and then probably scream! One of the cutest ways for announcing pregnancy is most defintely sending out pregnancy announcements! You can have your picture, or the ultrasound picture on there, with the baby's due date, and send them out to all of your family and friends. Waiting for the phone to ring, is probably the most enjoyable part!!!
